How is the biorevitalization procedure going?

The type of drug for injection chooses  specialist . It is the physician who determines which program will effectively solve the problem, adjusting for the patient's age.
Through a large number of injections, the drug is injected into the middle and upper layers of the skin. At the injection site
may appear  redness or small bruises, but all will disappear within 2-3 days.

Botulinum therapy  Is an effective technique for correcting mimic wrinkles and subsequent prevention of their occurrence. Group A botulinum toxins temporarily smooth wrinkles and relax muscles, while maintaining  nutrition of muscle fibers.

The technology is carried out with a thin insulin needle, which makes the procedure almost painless. The effect of the drug is manifested in 2-4 days, but the maximum result is achieved within 2 weeks. Muscles relax and maintain
facial expressions, wrinkles and irregularities are smoothed out, the skin looks fresh and toned.

The procedure consists in the introduction of microinjections of special preparations Botox (botox), Dysport (dysport),
"Xeomin" subcutaneously or intramuscularly. The duration of the lifting effect is individual, it can last from 3 to 8 months. The drug is excreted from the body, so the botulinum therapy session should be repeated. To achieve a preventive effect, it is recommended to use it twice a year.

Indications for botulinum toxin injections:

  • Fine wrinkles around the eyes

  • Any wrinkles in the forehead, bridge of the nose.

  • Lowering the corners of the lips

  • Hyperhidrosis (i.e. excessive sweating)

Contraindications:

How often can you get Botox injections?

Botulinum therapy is carried out as needed - when the effect of the previous procedure subsides. To achieve maximum rejuvenation, you can take a course of 2-3 procedures in 12 months. With hyperhidrosis, injections are done on average once a year.

After the first procedure, after 2 weeks, a correction can be made - additional injections. After another week, the result is again assessed and can be corrected again. It is not recommended to pin up the drug anymore. If you regularly give injections for 1.5-2 years, a person will lose the habit of frowning. This is an excellent prevention of new expression wrinkles.

Is there always an effect of botulinum therapy?

At first, it is always there, only if the patient does not have individual immunity to botulinum toxin. And then the development of tolerance, that is, resistance to drugs, is possible. Several courses of injections are capable of increasing it. This means that a larger dose will be required for the following procedures, and the effect will last 1.5-2 times less. Usually, resistance occurs if the drug is injected more often than 1 time in 4 months. In order for sensitivity to botulinum toxin to return, you need a break in injections for at least a year.

Is botulinum therapy harmful?

Botulinum toxin is a poison. If it enters the bloodstream or simply if too large a dose is injected intramuscularly, paralysis of vital muscles and death are possible. The toxin paralyzes large skeletal muscles, heart, diaphragm. However, botulinum toxin-based preparations are not poisons, because the toxin in them is bound by auxiliary proteins. And a fatal outcome is possible only if you enter a minimum of 2000 units. One bottle, for example "Botox", contains 50 or 100 units. That is, you need to inject a person from 20 to 40 vials, which, of course, no doctor will do. The doses are usually very slightly wrong.

What should not be done after the procedure?

  1. Sit down or lie down in the first hours after the procedure, massage, squeeze or scratch the treated area.

  2. Sleep with your face in a pillow or on your side for the first 7-10 days.

  3. To overheat the treated area in the first 7-10 days, that is, go to a bath or sauna, wash with hot water, do steam baths, sunbathe (there is harm not only from heat, but also from ultraviolet radiation).

  4. To do contour plastics and other cosmetic procedures for 14 days.

  5. In the first month, take antibiotics.

  6. In the first 7-10 days - drink alcohol and eat spicy foods.

  7. Swim in the pool or natural waters.
